The Far West Province government has declared a public holiday across the province tomorrow. On the occasion of the Bhuwa festival celebrated in this province, the provincial government has declared a public holiday on 26th of January.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law has informed that the government and public agencies in the state will be closed on the day of the holiday. Bhuwa festival, which is celebrated with joy in Bajura, Bajhang, has recently started to be celebrated in Kailali, Kanchanpur as well.
Bajureli and Bajhangis, who came down from the hilly districts to Terai, also celebrate Bhuwa festival here. It is customary to enjoy this festival by dancing Bhuwa Naach in public places. On the occasion of Bhuwa festival, Bajureli Seva Samaj Dhangadhi will also organize a Bhuwachali game competition here from Poush 27 to 28.
Similarly, on the 27th , since Prithvi Jayanti, National Unity Day and Tol Lhosar festival, the government of Nepal has decided to give a public holiday.
