OnePlus company has launched a new mobile phone worldwide. Today at 7:30 in an event held in New Delhi, India launched mobile phones and Airbuds 3 in which Oneplus12 and Oneplus 12R.
OnePlus is launching the OnePlus 12 series in India and globally today at the “Smooth Beyond Belief” event.
There will be the OnePlus 12 and the OnePlus 12R. Since both phones are available in China, we know what to expect from them. For instance, the OnePlus 12 runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC while the OnePlus 12R ships with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
The company is also unveiling the OnePlus Buds 3 today. So, let’s check out what we could get from it as well.
Oneplus 12
- The phone could launch in India at Rs 64,999 for the 12+256GB variant and Rs 69,999 for the 16+512GB model. Its sale could start from January 30th. There could be an 11% sale discount on top of these prices.
Oneplus 12R
- OnePlus 12R is believed to be a rebadged OnePlus Ace 3. This phone was launched earlier this month in China starting at 2,599 yuan (about Rs 30,271). In India, as per leaker Paras Guglani (via RMUpdates), the 12R could start at Rs 39,999 for the 8+128GB model and the 16+256GB variant could cost Rs 45,999. The 12R prices could be discounted by 12% in the launch sale.
Oneplus Buds 3
- The leaker also suggests the OnePlus Buds 3 could cost around Rs 5499 in India but during the introductory sale, it could be available at Rs 5499.

OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R design
- Both the OnePlus 12 and 12R share a similar design except for some minor changes.
- On the front, the OnePlus 12 and 12R feature a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter, narrow bezels to fit more content, and a significantly slimmer chin at the bottom.
- OnePlus 12 has curved edges, while the 12R has flat edges to the sides.
- We see the volume rocker and power buttons on the right spine. We get the famous alert slider on the left spine.
- The rear design is also similar, with a circular module attached to the left edge.
- The OnePlus has a large circular module on the back and this houses triple camera sensors and an LED flash. There is Hasselblad branding engraved within the module.
- The USB Type-C port, SIM tray slot, speaker vents, and a primary microphone are at the bottom.
- On top, we have the secondary microphone and an Infrared sensor.
OnePlus 12R specifications
- Display: 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 2780×1264 pixels, up to 4500 nits peak brightness, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
